Loved the Mitchell fight. Deserves a crack at the world title and must be His next fight. Khan is learning quickly. |

Not so long ago, I got criticised on here for daring to suggest that a fighter of Khan's style could be the most likely to take Mayweather's unbeaten record, and after last night's fight I think its well worth me repeating that claim. Yes, Khan is not the finished product, but with his awesome speed, Roach's technical guile in his corner, and a much more solid defence he has shown since his defeat, there is no reason that Khan cannot become a World great, never mind a British one. As quite a few people said at the time, Khan's defeat has been a blessing in disguise, as it jolted him out of this bizarre idea that he had of himself, as some type of Mike Tyson-esque boxer, just standing toe-to-toe, winging in constant big shots and dicing with the possibility of being tagged on a suspect chin. His speed was always more suited to the style he has displayed since, which, while more cautious, can still be destuctive because of his undoubted speed and power. Mayweather should certainly not be seen as some sort of fantasy for Khan...12-24 months down the line he may well be Floyd's most viable option. |

Khan is the real deal and I just don't get the hate and crticism he gets from British fans. His speed is frightening. If he keeps working on his defence under Roach, he will become a great, I've no doubt about it. |

Unfortunately, it probably has more to do with the colour of his skin and his religious persuasions, than any boxing matters.... |

I had a dream last night that Juan Manuel Márquez knocked out Ricky Hatton in the 7th Round how random!... |

I'm really starting to get convinced by Khan. I didn't like his brashness so early in his career and i feel the Prescott knockout could be the best thing that has happened to him so far. With Roach in his corner he definitely has the right credentials to dominate for years to come |

Khan was certainly impressive last night and has the potential to be a world great but we're still to see his chin be tested again since the Prescott fight and only after he's been in a 10/11/12 round war will we see whether he's the real deal or not. |
