ALL Union talk in this thread......

Any Other threads will be locked and a link to here posted....

This thread will be replaced (by another) when it reaches 1000 posts (or near enough) or gets absurdly stupid.......

Play nicely, wonder if this one will take almost 2 years to reach 1000 like the last one...

Leeds union have won 1 out of 7 and Sale 2 out of 7. It isn't going to be the best of spectacles.
My brother also got free tickets. Were yours through Leeds Met LFC?
He went to a club night/pub crawl set up by the rugby union club some time around easter this year and has been offered free tickets for every home game this year as he put his name and details down when he registered.

Rhinos ST holders are invited along to matches every now and then for free, the match against Sale is one of them!

Looks like even the Union press are turning on the code:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/6590180/Rugby-lawmakers-are-killing-the-game-as-a-spectacle.html

May I suggest dropping the flankers from the game, getting rid of the ruck that is causing some much trouble and introduce a "play the ball" and limited the number of tackles to 6 before turning over the ball as a start?

One of a number of articles that have come out saying more or less the same thing. Twickenham still keeps selling out though which has finally convinced me that what goes on in the boxes and car parks at a union game is far more important than events on the field.

And they reckon the All Blacks are the cream.....
My goodness me, if only the administrators of RL had something even approaching a clue about promotion and expansion. Applying whatever criteria you want, this is f***ing s***e!

No one ever stopped the church by pulling down the steeple,
You'll never beat the system by bombing number 10,
Systems aren't just made of bricks, they're also made of people,
You may send them into hiding but they'll be back again

Well, you'll at least see a bit of running then.

Leeds Rhinos? 8 for you, Leeds Rhinos! You go, Leeds Rhinos.

And none for Castleford Tigers. Bye!
