There was a bit in the T20 the other week when the batsman had a strike rate of 222.22, the other commentaters were most disappointed Richie wasn't on air to read that bit out A real master of his art, cricket around the world will be poorer for his absence. |

Yes, your modern aussie like most of the ones that post on these forums are far removed from the older "proper aussies" of yesteryear. I'll always remember when he was asked about what the best test match he called was. He said, Edgbaston in 1981. England won that one. As you said, impartial. |
