Not gonna happen. FIFA have all but said that they want it in Europe in 2018, so it is either Russia or England. As it says in the article 2022 is a more realistic target for Australia. |

To be quite honest, I dont think England can ever comprehend hosting a tournament of the magnitude of the Football World Cup. For starters, it would kick off at any oppurtunity. Second, we stuggled to build Wembley, with the costs spiralling out of control week on week. Third, I doubt England will ever be good enough to be actual contenders for the world crown. Australia is by far the better option after the success of the Olympics IMO. |

Not read the atricle, but I'm guessing that if Australia gets the World Cup, they will be building quite a few grounds or people will be about 10 miles from the pitch due to watchign games at Cricket and Aussie Rules grounds? |

You do know that was largely down to AUSTRALIAN sub-contractors don't you? |
