Behave yourself! No way Liverpool will go down and you know it.

Having watched Liverpool today, I have 2 observations....
1. They will not get relegated.....Mid table mediocrity probably, but definitely not relegated.
2. Liverpool fans should be appalled with Torres.....He is behaving like a petulant child.....We all know the likes of Lucas, Konchesky, etc, are average players, but at least they try....Gerrard is a class player, struggling for form in a struggling side, but at least he tries....Torres is a world class player, but criminally he behaves like a spoilt child, and doesn't bother to try.
They always say that you find a player's true nature in times of trouble and there is no doubt you are seeing the real Torres right now....If I was in charge of Liverpool right now, I'd be arranging a January move for him right now and making sure I've got 2 good, hard working replacements in place for the 1st day of 2011....He is a disgrace to the Liverpool shirt.

Carragher is another great example to follow. Average player trying his guts out for his team.

Liverpool are shocking. If you take Steven Gerrard out of that team Everton are better fullstop, which is the first time we've been able to say that. He is keeping them out of a total collapse.
Fernando Torres is either finished or he's a complete idiot. He looks slow, has no touch and is way, way off the pace. If that is his reaction to the team being pants and not creating, he should look at how Tim Cahill plays for Everton. He'd chase and fight if we had a Melbourne Storm situation, nevermind just being a bit below par. I'm not convinced he's not just gone the same way as Michael Owen where one injury too many has robbed him of his pace and his confidence. He looks poor at the moment either way.
Other than those two they have absolutely nothing in midfield. Lucas, Maxi, Morales and Aquilani were all shocking signings. Jovanovic is totally average and Cole is a luxury they don't need with Gerrard also in the side.
In their favour they have Gerrard and a quality back line in Reina, Carragher, Skrtel and Agger. That is what separates them from a normal team struggling for form at the wrong end of the table.

As expected.
I never seen today's game (work), but it seems that I was right. Everton were comfortable and we were average again. Roy is way out of his depth and this isn't just a 'form' thing with us, this is how we are being coached, what mentality is being instilled and what level of performance is being accepted. Roy can coach talentless, workman-like players to chase, fight and battle for aerial balls, but he can't coach a side to pass, create, move and show signs of being in unity on the field.
Sacking him now is a real cautious move, whoever comes in won't be able to do much better for the time being, but Roy isn't going to get much better either. It could do massive damage for their image if they sack him immediately, much like the Klinsmann antics did for T+G (admittedly, Rafa was in a far greater position than Roy and didn't deserve that), but it's still a sketchy situation. I'd give some more time, but if things don't get better then I'd worry about him spending possible transfer funds in January, purely because he rates players like Poulsen and Konchesky, but not players like Aquilani.

Meireles, to be fair, needs time and hasn't been helped by being played out of position after arriving here. Lucas is poor. Aquilani was class, just never given the chance. Jovanovic is a striker being played on the wing in a new league. Maxi is just a decent to average player who we got on a free, a little like Kuyt but £10m less.
