Saw Tamworth draw 2-2 with AFC Wimbledon this afternoon, shame the Lambs capitulated after half time but they are still competing well with the bigger sides in the league and looking like a top half finish should be the least of their ambitions.

Bootle looking to maintain unbeaten record tonight at home to Runcorn. Been looking forward to this one, out keeper Mark Mawdsley up for his biggest test tonight. Hopefully they will bring a few to Delta Taxi Stadium and should be cracking game.

UP THE BUCKS!!!

Saw Ilkeston get an easy 3-0 away win at Solihull Moors,

Derby manager Nigel Clough was there casting his eye over winger Sam Duncum who is as good a player as there is in the Conference North this season and looks destined for bigger things (which will not help The Robins hopes of a play off berth if they can not keep hold of him).

Scored a peach of a goal too which will have done his standing a bit of good.

thats cause we have a stadium unlike most teams in our league.

and a fan base over 1500 most weeks.

who do you support?

The Fleetwood Town FC juggernaught continues on. 2-0 win away at those ruffians Farsley Celtic, proves that skill will always prevail against teams with no skill who just try and kick lumps out of you.

And how about our 2 new signings. Klaus Jorgenson from Portvale, who was wanted by league 1 teams but decided to drop 3 divisions to the Blue Square North because he knows, we are THE team. Also, Gareth Sneddon who was offered a contract by EVERY bluesquare premiership team but opted, again, for Fleetwood in the blue square north. Probably because out kit is made by NIKE and they would rather play in NIKE than, I dunno, dunlop, or whoever it is that makes non league kits.

Add to the fact that work on our £3m east stand is about to start. Our stadium is just WOW. What must our players think when they have to play at places like Farsley, which arent much better than council pitches and communal changing rooms.

We are the kings of the Blue Square. I will be able to leave this thread in 2 years when we make it to the league proper, because at it stands, we have too much money for the blue square league.

can you come and play in our league then if you have a stadium.

we are 3 divisions below you. with a 12,000 stadium average attendance of 1500, which is the 5th largest in non league according to a couple of weeks ago what was mentioned.

the only teams with a sniff of a ground are Lancaster City.

Leigh Genesis have a good stadium but thats about it. the rest is like playing in a park with most of them.

we take more away fans to places than the home team has home fans.

we have players that have dropped down divisions to play for us.

your in a higher league imaging how us FC Halifax Town fans feel travelling to places like Mossley and Trafford every week.
