Will be in league 2 within 5 years for definite, probably within 3.

I doubt they have a chairman as rich as fleetwood town fc do. Nor the infrastructure that is currently in place.

Any idea what this Mullan is like? Former england under 18 international and played few Manchester United reserve games

In other news, I believe Farsley Celtic are in court tomorrow facing a winding up order, just over 2 years after they secured promotion the Conference.

They spent big on the understanding they could flog off part of the ground for housing. It never went through, the "credit crunch" happened, they got relegated and owe the taxman thousands.

Entered administration late last night.

What happens from this point on is anybodies guess. Ten point deduction is a given, provided that we can enter the league at all.

I'm pre-season trainign with Runcorn atm. Started back last night, very tiring!

Hoping for a run in some pre-season games and possibly a short-term contact. Fingers crossed.

Bit of a strange one - the comments from the Chairman were along the lines of "we were going to go into administration voluntarily but never got round to it".

Apparently it was Coors Brewery - one of the major creditors - who called the administrators in.

You're training with the Linnets?

Good stuff, let's hope you do enough to impress for a contract, if you do you'll be facing Bootle next season, can't wait to visit some of the premier division grounds next season.

Yeah I went for a trial last week and assume I impressed so now i'm training with them. Its weird because I took a load of kids to watch them v Bacup in April. There are some v.good players down there though, you realise how good must Prem players be if non-league footballers are that good at just keeping the ball.

They usually all state at least one of those claims as well.

Good luck.
