The Inter fans don't care seeing that the new manager has such a nice personality.

Looking at Inter's season so far, it's so 'typically Rafa' that you can't really defend it.

He's had a few injuries, but they shouldn't matter to a squad that is easily the strongest in the league. However, it is that same time of the season that Benitez notoriously struggled with us. He begins/began to rotate more, rest players more and the points would continue to be dropped. Inter are dropping many, too, but it is all because Benitez believes a side should be in peak fitness at the back end of the season, as that's when the trophies are won. Simple argument is: you won't be in contention for trophies if you're out of them at the halfway point.

I still think Inter will win the league with Benitez in charge, change isn't always something sides adapt to, especially when the type of coaching is quite a drastic change. Mourinho is known to be a very psychological coach, whilst Benitez is quite the opposite, instead emphasising on tactics and coaching. Here is where a bit of psychology could be useful for Inter, it could make or break his job there (I personally think he'll stay), but he won't be winning any 'cups' unless he has his squad fit in its entirety.

Sadly they are entitled to take £95m out of the club accounts towards paying it off. There goes the Ronaldo money.

Does this mean they are preparing the club for sale, or maybe even floatation? If so, it could be good news for United fans.

Any rumours why they are looking to pay off some of the debt?

What do Top Reds like Nikaed and the lad from Leeds think?

The fact they've brought in a director of 'strategy' above him, shows me at least, that they're putting faith in Comolli. He'll be the long term prospect at the club, managers will come and go, IMO.

Commolli is disliked by Spurs fans. There have been allegations of him being devious, untrustworthy and unpopular with managers. He's a great self-publicist though.

I know how you feel about Hodgson. It's a similar situation with Mancini at the moment. They both have one thing in common (apart from the Inter connection) - they have not been at their respective clubs very long. They both need to be given more time.

It's not certain as yet where the money has come from, there seems to be conflicting reports although basically no one yet knows for certain where the money has come from. They do have the entitlement to take money from Utd so most fans will jump to that conclusion immediately I guess.

There's an unsubstantiated rumour (maybe even a guess or even complete BS), that United are raising funds by selling the ground and leasing it back

Red Football's accounts are due today (I think). Might be a bit soon for them to reveal anything I suppose.

Oliver Kay on Twatter:-

Quote:#MUFC 19-word statement: "The board notes recent press speculation. The board can confirm that there has been no dividend of club cash”

I've not read any rumours about a sale and leaseback of Old Trafford. That would be incendiary and may encourage IMUST to...gulp...order a batch of green and gold bobble hats. Shudder.

Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

It appears they are paying it off from their own funds. Seems like a strange move. Unless they are attempting to make MUFC more attractive for potential investors.
