Watched Over The Limit last night. Have seen worse PPV's, but think there were some things happened (out of WWE's control mostly) which put real dampeners on it.
Felt sorry for Orton & Edge the way their match fell apart with Orton's injury, still don't get how he did it though - did it really just happen when he was punching the mat?!
The finish was probably the best they could do at the time to be fair to both guys and the ref.
The Punk v Mysterio finish really p****d me off. Both guys are fantastic talents and have been awesome in their fued (from the bits I've seen), and the big finish should have been the sight and facial expressions of a horrified Punk as Mysterio shaving his beloved hair. But, I'm guessing, this had to be suddenly abandoned due to the fact that Punk was bleeding from a face-cut, so the now PG-WWE had to instead show the back of his head for ages, thus IMO spoiling the 'pay-off' to the fued. Then Serena ran out to what I'm think they were trying to portray as her trying to stop everyone seeing his shaved head (the white towel) but I'm sure it was actually so he could clean up the blood, so that they could get a few last minute shots of him going nuts before going to the next match.
Stuff like this is spoiling it for me at the moment. I appreciate the direction they feel they have to take, but it's just so insulting now when guys dive in with towels the moment they get cut - human beings bleed FFS, it happens!
Kids will have seen blood in films, TV drams etc, so I don't see the big deal, + IMO it did a disservice to Punk & Mysterio, who like I said are fantastic hands in the company.
Apart from that though it's still a good product to watch, but I can still see more adult viewers slowly getting drawn to TNA if the child-orientated WWE keeps doing things the way they are.
