Also done a double with Cousin Vinny and Tatenen and have about 15 ante-post bets running on to (hopefully) the two bankers of the festival..... Binocular today and Master Minded tomorrow. If those two win I'm already guaranteed to have had the best festival in my lifetime by some way.

Aachen is going for the County Hurdle instead.

Remember backing the great Istabraq many years ago when he won his first Champion Hurdle and absolutely lumped on ante-post at 2/1, when he ranged up and Charlie Swan pressed the button and he left the field for dead he looked the greatest 2/1 shot I'd ever seen in my life.

Similarly today, if AP comes up and jumps the last and quickens away to win well (like I anticipate he will) then 7/4 will look a wonderful price.

1.30 Torn between Torphicen and Ainama, will probably end up on the Pipe horse. Wouldn't put anyone off Medermit.

2.05 Three each-way against the field are Follow The Plan, Original and Panjo Bere. Can't have Tatenen at all.

2.40 Despite the stats being against him I just can't get away from Star De Mohaison. Wichita Lineman has solid credentials and Nenuphar Collonges should go well at a decent price.

3.20 Couldn't get away from the two market leaders. It might just turn out to be Celestial Halo's turn to come out in front against Binocular. Osana will probably chase them home.

4.00 Edna Bolger but which one. Garde Champetre just gets the nod over L'Ami.

4.30 Can't decide between Quevega and United. Probably make that decision as the day progresses.

2.40 23 Lothian Falcon becomes the latest non-runner at Cheltenham.

Are doing your Betfair laying off? You will have to explain to me how that works one day.

Stick with the Pipe horse mate, its had great reviews in the Racing post and the Racing Outlook, also gets 7lb due to it being a 4 year old but Ive gone for Medermit due to my bet being an E/W Heinz.

IMO your spot on with Celestial Halo and Garde Champetre and i have gone for United over Quevega.
