In each case, both sports (RL & RU) have their positives and negatives over each other....Don't try to fool yourself that RL is some type of 'super' sport...watch Huddersfield v Cas from Friday night, and try to convince a neutral that RL is entertaining. Yes, running with a ball can be entertaining and skilful, but if you think kicking is as boring and as simple as you reckon, you should watch Jonny Wilkinson's winning drop kick from the '03 World Cup final and then try to tell me that kicking makes for dramaless, dull sport...
Wow! That's a very high horse! How on earth will you get down?

Put it this way, I certainly don't watch RL for it's scrummaging.
The kicking I was referring to was the hoof and hope style punts that you can often see in union. Full back to full back aerial tennis.
If I didn't have an interest in union I wouldn't watch it and I certainly wouldn't post on here.

As i remember the world cup was a pretty drab affair if you want to watch a boring game which has a match winning drop goal in the last minute as being the definition of enterrtainment then you should watch RU all the time. If England had not won that game no- one would mention that game in England and Johhny wilkinson would have just being another body left to medical science.
On saturday even the commentator commented on the first half as being onje high kick after another. Admittedly the second half was better but if i did not have it sky plussed and being able to FF at every scrum and lineout the entertainment was for about 30 minutes in the whole game.
Admittedly after being at the Hudds Cas game i accept yopur point about RL not always being entertaining
Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers
Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????
