Booth v Hunter tonight, looking forward to this one.Cant see it being boring Olympians David Price and Tony Jeffries also on the card,i imagine they'll ring the bell for Darren Sutherland.
I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read on the train. a.k.a. saintrocknrolla ont thexbox !
I had it for Dirrell on the cards but I guess being in the hometown swung it for him.
I'm not so sure. A challenger has to do more than what Dirrell did to take the belt. It was a hard fight to score becuase neither fighter landed many effective shots.
Stylistically (sp) that was probably the worst match up for Froch. Kessler and Abraham are tougher opponents but are more suited to Froch, because they'll be willing fight him, but I still don't think he'll beat Kessler, and it will be a war against Abraham... I cannot wait for that fight.

I never saw the fight, but apparently this last round defeat was different to the Froch one in that he was being outclassed by Abraham pretty much all the way through.
I must admit to sharing your concerns that he may pull out of the competition though....Though for any of the fighters who lose their first bout, then this probably applies.
I would presume though that their contracts will stipulate they can't pull out??...

Abraham is now favourite IMO. He's the hardest man in the tournement, and probably in the whole sport (watch the first Miranda fight for proof). But, he's also got an excellent defense, and is a pretty skilled boxer. Not to mention his devestating power.

Froch to get KO'd by Kessler... think Kessler and Abraham are the best 2 in the tourney. Dirrell was fast, flashy but too negative... but it gave me a glimpse of what might have happened if he had fought Calzaghe, Froch too slow, too one dimentional and Joe would have stopped him in and around the 10th IMHO
