Superb performance from Barca, back to what they were doing earlier in the season - destroying teams who actually try to take them on at football, I'm a bit surprised Real didn't try and play it a bit safer but then again nothing less than a win would have done for them.
He'll get the headlines but forget Messi, it's Iniesta and, especially, Xavi who make that team tick - he must have got at least four assists tonight, if he was a forward he'd be a shoe in for all the awards like World Player of the Year.
Ramos will definitely be gone in the summer after that, which is a shame because I can't see a challenger coming from anywhere else, and bringing a new manager in will set them back a year at least.
Good win for Sevilla after two defeats, 2-0 at Villarreal.
Numancia also got a vital 3 points, beating Malaga by the same score - surely they aren't going to follow the leads of Espanyol and Osasuna and go on a run when all looked lost?

Quite simply, Saturday's El Clasico was the greatest game of football I've ever seen. Words fail me - Barcelona were sensational. Their passing and movement, absolutely awesome.
And people on here have the nerve to say the premiership is more entertaining

good call, but el classic was an example of the very best of la liga.
the best thing about the game was that both teams played the kind of football they've been playing for most of the season and we all saw the result. madrid didn't play poorly, they had chances and scored first, but barça just took them apart. 6 goals at the bernabeu! it's something that will take years for merengues to forget, some never will. 6 goals and it could/should have been even more. INCREDIBLE!
i watched athletic's draw and it wasn't exactly entertaining.
still another point and top flight football next year (surely). i've heard they're after a couple of players from real sociedad so hopefully if they recruit/promote well next year could be good

When (fingers crossed) Chelsea knock Barca out of the CL on Wednesday what is being more entertaining actually worth?
