Like any side in world football, they attack better when given space to break into and use their pace to greater effect. When a side defend deep, put men behind the ball and double up on the attacking players, it is almost impossible to break down, but Argentina got the breakthrough early on which made the game so much easier for them.

Alongside Brazil, Argentina probably have the most dangerous counter-attacking players in the world, di Maria, Messi, Higuain and Tevez come alive when they have space to move into, it will be interesting to see how Argentina would play if they went a goal down, though.

Well I backed Villa and Messi with a grand total of 0 goals from three games so far.

It showed with Brazil, sit back and defend against them and they become very ineffective. At some point despite their great attacking prowess you just feel Argentina will pay for having too many attack minded players in the team and being sloppy at the back. South Korea could have easily scored an equaliser, still the Argies are great to watch!

gutted, 1-0 to nigeria.

Was hoping nigeria would lose so they would be effectively out along with SA.

As soon as they come up agianst a tactically solid team with class up front, they are out.

I'm hoping england get to play them because i'd love it if we could knock maradona out.
