Hoh hum. Eastwood Town on Saturday, onwards and upwards.

FC? Crowd trouble? Would you believe it, eh?

Great win for Bootle last night 6-0 away at Darwen (Dale, Hickey, Kay, Kilroy, O'Connor n Black)

One of only two teams not to have conceded. Fantastic start. Even rumours Andy Fowler could be back.

.....and the mighty Kettering bandwagon rolls on. Three wins on the bounce, unbeaten in the league all season, up to 7th and above Rushden.

Happy days for the Poppies! :D

I was at that game as a neutral. It didn't seem to be trouble as such, but some visiting supporters encroached onto the running track after Bradford's second goal was scored by one of their ex-players. I couldn't tell what, if anything, people on the home bench were doing, but that ground isn't really suitable for four figure football crowds with its lack of fencing and barriers. BPA looked pretty tasty, but I would imagine they'll have a lot of ground improvements to make if they're in a position to challenge for promotion to Conference North.

I also saw Guiseley 1 Matlock 1 in the Northern Premier League on Bank Holiday Monday - Matlock were by far the better side until they took the lead early in the second half, they Guiseley suddenly woke up and equalised almost immediately and the remaining half hour or so was a pretty exciting contest.

Having spent the following week in Blackpool for the Lancashire v Surrey match that was abandoned without a ball being bowled, I took in the FA Cup tie between Lancaster City and Salford City on Saturday, with Salford coming from a goal down to win 2-1 with a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time. A bloke in the main stand was asleep before the match had even started!

Then, having taken in Bradford PA on the Monday night, it was back home to see my own team Dulwich Hamlet win their FA Cup replay 2-1 at Broxbourne Borough the following evening. A guy who attends games in the London area taking photographs was there. Photographs on his website linked here:

That pretty much sums it up. One of the lads who actually did go up and push the BPA manager has admitted that he actually knows him and has past history with him - daft get should've known not to bother.

All been dealt with now, onwards and upwards. Eastwood Town at Gigg Lane tomorrow... If it's on.
