Was it just me or was Hamiltons attitude today simply that it was a destruction derby and he should overtake anyone no matter how difficult the manoeuvre or position he was in. Then after smashing the hell out of half the opposition around him, proceed to blame everyone else but himself in the interviews afterwards ?
Agreed that the weekend didnt run smoothly for him (and I backed him, so I was on his side today), but thats F1 pal. Just get on with it.

Think he was griping at prettl well anything, had a pop at his engineers yesterday, and today they apparenrtly "did a great job" Not sure if that was related to advising him, or taping his car back together after he kept driving into things/cars.

another stupid rule shown up today, a potential good finish ruined by repairs and new tyres allowed to be replaced on the restart
the soft tyres also lasted too long today, vettel went for 60 laps and could still go too fast to be overtaken
be interesting to see if the red bull is still the fastest after the illegal parts are removed from all cars for silverstone and beyond

I could not believe that Hildebrand crashed coming on the final straight !!! Poor bleeder and still he got second place and for a rookie he did fantastic. I was hoping Danica Patrick would have won it but maybe next year. The Indianapolis 500 is, for me, the best motor race in the world. I think Dan Wheldon had tears of disbelief as well when he crossed the finishing line. Hildebrand looked gutted the poor lad.

Long evening watching the F1 but worth it for that finish. Great race by JB.
Be interesting to see what the stewards inquiry say about his 2 crashes though.
Doubt anything will happen. The incident with Lewis had a lot to do with the conditions as visibility would have been poor and Button admitted he couldn't see Lewis. If that was a dry race, the collision wouldn't have happened. As for the Alonso incident, that was Alonso's fault, Button had him and Alonso tried to shut the door on him and paid the price. Great race by Button though after everything that happened. Vettel still has a lot to learn still, as the only 2 times he's been put under any sort of pressure so far this year, he's lost the lead and race win.

Great win by JB. His pace at the end was literally unbelievable.
Vettel is a great driver but whenever another driver gets near him he seems to make mistakes or at least look like he'll make a mistake. When he's out front on his own then he is excellent.
Lewis needs to reign it in and just drive normally. He is a great driver but he seems like he just doesn't really care about preserving the car this year and is trying ridiculous moves all the time.

Agreed, think Lweis just need to be whispered in his ear just to be a little more patient. It seems he is frustrated the car is still a work in progress but during races its race pace is good the only problem is he's trying a little too hard and costing himself time. Jenson showed yesterday how to be patient all those pit stops, a drive through, two incidents and 21st to 1st, a very well deserved win.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

very enjoyable race, nice for the FIA to delay the race until after I got back from the rugby
