I think the rot had set in by then and it's difficult to turn round. I attended very few games during the Todd era so it's difficult for me to comment, but the style of football was not to many peoples tastes.

No, but to say we plummeted after getting rid of him is clearly flawed, we were 1 point and 1 place above the relegation zone when he got the boot, having been in the top 4 at the end of October.
The plummet was well under way, and to be quite honest I'd rather spend my money watching us play football in the NE Counties League than whatever game it was Todd had us playing.
