Obviously more than you

The O has been terrible but when you have a QB who's obviously got his mind on other things and only 2 decent receivers (plus no real TE's) that happens. If you think the whole team is a mess though then you are mistaken. We're in a far better position than the other 0-3 teams because could have easily been 3-0 now had it not been for 1 or 2 things here and there. This is a team who has a defence to win games. All we need is a few pieces in the O and we will be competitive. Look at how poor the 40ers were a few years back (hell, we beat them 21-0 at their place with Raheem's team!!) and the Seahawks (again, beat them easily in Seattle the same year.) We are starting to get our stuff together and will have a team that can win the South before long.

This isn't blind optimism either. The roster that missed out on the playoffs with a 10 win season in 2010 isn't a patch on the one we have now. Now Freeman is out of the way lets see how the team chemistry is. There has been a massive problem the last year and it has either been Schiano or Freeman. The next few months will show us who was actually causing the problems.

ATEOTD though there was no discipline in Tampa. Schiano brought that and it didn't go down with a few players. This is why you get the stories about players not being happy. They had an easy life with Raheem.

I know Schiano is way out of his depth.

Big game tonight. Not one we can afford to lose but we've not looked good these past two weeks. Last week in particular was a bit of a shock I think for all lol.

All that optimism despite Glennon now taking a snap yet. The Jets are in a similar position but we don't have any decent wideouts and no stud running back like Martin. The difference is that we have a great defensive mind in Rex and Thurman and a decentish offensive co-ordinator in Morhninweg, That's why we're 2-1 and could easily be 3-0. Revis takes up too much of your cap, that's why your team struggles in other areas.

We're going to win Sunday. I guarantee it.

Optimism?

Glennon isn't our future, he's a stop gap. I never said this year. We are 0-3

We spend just as much on our O as we do on the Defence too. Freeman takes up 8 mil of the cap this year so if we will free up some space there.

The reason it all went south Sunday was because Jackson and Williams were both off the field in the 2nd half injured and Stocker and Crabtree didnt even start. We had Ogletree lining up as our no.1 receiver! The guy has some of the worst hands I have seen.

Tampa has a long history of not having an offence but when we were at our best, we didnt need it. That's why I am optimistic about this team. This D can win games. We dont need all stars on the ball side of things. We have 2 good recievers and one of the best RB's in the league. If we can get a QB who can protect the ball we will have a chance.

What I don't get is that Schiano is apparently the better coach and has a better team but is doing worse?

We play harder and do have the better roster. Being better one year to the next doesnt always equate to wins in the NFL though. It doesnt always tell the whole story either. We could and should be 2-1 right now but we arent. ATEOTD though, before the season started I would have expected us to be 1-2 right now. We've played well enough to be better than that and better defensively than I ever expected.

Yes, we are 0-3, but this is nothing like the team that started 0-7 back in '09. We have Arizona tomorrow and then a bye week. If things don't start to improve after that then Schiano will be rightfully under the microscope.

Also, how a team plays has a lot to do with the QB. Since Freeman's season where he threw 25 TD's and only had 6 picks he has played 34 games. In that period he has thrown 45 TD's but has thrown 42 Int's. When your QB is giving the ball away as much as that you are always going to be struggling.

Ever though thats a scheme issue? You know brought in by the coaches?

Schiano had you playing hard sure. Doesn't mean he's up to it. College coach in the pros.

Anyone else down in London for the game. Travelled down this morning for the regent street fan rally. Real good getting to see the players, cheerleaders up close etc... Games, activities and expensive food.

Looking forward to tomorrow now. Il be in my Manyi Te'o jersey bought direct from the Qualcomm club shop in August. Can't wait.
