Hatton would be mad to fight at Welterweight, he can't bully people at Welterweight like he can light welter. Hatton has nothing to prove, he should just retire. He's a legend in my eyes, maybe not for his boxing ability but for his ability to attract fans and the risks he has taken.
As for Khan, the world is his oyster now. He will have a list the length of his arm on who he could possibly face. I've said it for years but Khan is the next big thing. He will be absolutely awesome with 3 or 4 more years under Roach, especially when he adapts to the weight divisions.

I'd say that is the key.
Before Roach came in, Khan was fighting like an amateur without a helmet; gloves down, just throwing windmill after windmill.
He has improved massively since Roach took over, and if they can work together for a good few years, Khan could really make it.
Why? Just out of interest. I keep hearing/reading people saying he is cocky, arrogant etc....I don't actually see that in him, and besides, name a great boxer who doesn't have an air of arrogance around them?

I always thought he talked sense! He can go a really long way if he stays with Roach. As Freddie said, it took him 8 years to get Pacquiao where he is now. It'll just take some time with Khan.
Earlier he dismissed fighting JMM, as he's not good enough. That's not arrogance is it..
Can't wait for the Cotto fight. My 2 favourite fighters.

The problem I've had with Khan is the way he's been seemingly fast-tracked to becoming a World Champion without having to put in the groundwork the likes of Hatton have.
Hatton had to go through tough fights against the likes of Eamonn Magee, Vince Phillips, Dennis Pedersen, Ben Tackie, Jon Thaxton etc, etc... before he got his shot against Kostya Tsyzu.
It was through those type of fights where he built a huge following putting on some great nights.
Khan has no doubt got all the ability in the World and was clearly worth his World title shot (albeit against a poor Champion IMO) but for me it's the speed it's come at. Maybe that's down to a combination of Khan's ability and the knowledge that Frank Warren has that boxer's like Khan aren't gonna hang around years waiting for a shot and making him fortunes like previous fighters of his have.
I already know quite a number of previous Khan 'haters' who are now actually warming to him and I reckon his following will keep growing and growing with the more good performances he puts on and rightly so.
As for Ricky, I still haven't changed my mind, he's had his day and it's time to walk away with what I think is still a huge amount of respect from boxing fans.
