Everton reached a cup final last year and 5th. Man City didnt even get to Europe.
Granted, some very good signings over the summer and you should push for europe at the very least. But there isnt a chance your going to challenge for the title..yet

People can refer to it as Susan for all I care, the reality is that there is no such piece of legislation and people who think otherwise are wrong. What misinformed people call the Race Relations Act doesn't really matter.
I just thought it was funny that you got it wrong having refused to speak to somebody about it because they didn't 'know as much about it' as you do.
Anyway, I'm back off to my place in Pedant's Corner.
I'm glad I reserved judgement originally. I feel sorry for Gerrard having to put up with people offering him out all the time. I wonder if McGee has apologised for being overly aggressive towards him?
Judge Henry Globe told the footballer: "The verdict is a credible verdict on the full facts of this case, and you walk away from this court with your reputation intact."
Maybe to 5 year old Liverpool fans and the media. But to everyone else Gerrard's reputation has taken a massive hit.
Its that pesky "beyond reasonable doubt" thing again.
The problem with relying on CCTV evidence is that 1) you cannot hear what the bloke was saying to Gerrard or his tone of voice 2) those grainy images cannot pick up subtle nuances of body language which might make you think someone is about to thump you.

I would hardly say it's taken a massive hit. It will all be forgotton about in a few months. Most people will have forgotton about what happened to Terry all those years ago, and his reputation is fairly decent. Well, to everyone bar Ledley King that is.
