The 2nd string beat the Redskins last night (well, it was the 2nd string after they were 13-0 up), and the HUGE bright spot for me was BUSTer Davis, our 07 number 1 pick. He looked like a good underneath receiver and I'm hoping he's over his injury nightmares. If we can work him into the game plan along with Gates, V-Jack, MoFlo and Nannee we'll be scary. I know one swallow doesn't make a spring (or is it summer) and all that, but there's hope.
I don't get the Rivers hate round the league. Is it his verbal with Cutler that got peoples backs up? From what I read, it was very much 6 of one in that encounter. If it's his passion and celebrating then I guess it's just him. Off the field he is as mild manner a player as I've seen, married his highschool bird, keeps himself to himself and seems very respectful of opposition teams, coaches and players. He is my biased MVP.
Does anyone remember my opinion on Cutler before the season by the way? Cry baby, blames everyone but himself and over-rated? I hate to say I told you so....
Cutler is still throwing TD's. You have to bear in mind what he has to throw 2 as well. Hell be fine, his mechanics and arm are too good not to. As for Rivers, I dont get the hate at all, people hate Eli as well....dunno why?

I remember reading or seeing that he married his high school girlfriend and don't they have about 4-5 kids??
He is phenomenally good (part of the reason i dislike him!) and just comes across as a totally idiot on the field and on the sidelines. Whether it is an act, i don't know because he does seem like a decent guy off it.
I wouldn't be suprised if he was MVP. The 2 Colt defeats make it more likely to be Peyton though. When he has been pulled and Painter has been put in they have been scored against something like 41-0.
Cutler is good but he needs to reign it in. To have more INT's than TD's (is that still the case) is atrocious for an alledged top QB.
and Mark, i don't hate Eli, per sa he is just massivley overated based soley on a miracle catch by Tyree.

Cutler has the makings of a top QB, I agree, he doesn't have the temprement though. He believes the hype 100%. I read something about him "flicking the finger" to some Bears fans the other week. Classy.
I think you know why I hate Eli - and his old man! I'm getting over it now, but will always have a certain amount of hate set aside for that little swine.

Yeah, he has got loads of kids, that's the sourthern kids in him and his missus I think. I think their from 'Bama! I do understand why you don't like his on field persona, but he's the leader of that team, and I get the feeling his team mates 100% buy into him.
Peyton should win it in fairness, he is the Colts. Rivers should IMHO be mentioned right up there with him though.

Michael Vick flicked the bird at Falcons fans a few years back. Cutler is a QB who has been dumped on and he might still be getting a bit of stick from Bears fans about it but it's not nice, possibly, being booed but he has thrown several INTs.

Meh, take all the credit, seems the AFC's top seed (and if you can combine the entire league, the overall top seed) have suddenly gone off the radar
Should be capiable of beating any of Patriots, Ravens or Jets at home (when bothered)....just the title game, which, with a bit of luck, will not involve the Chargers in any way!
