Brodie sold to Crawley for a quite unbelievable £300k. £100k more than Stevenage got for the considerably better Morison. Think will be shocked when they get Brodes in training. He's a very good goal poacher but beyond that he is very limited. Can't really head the ball and his control is shocking. Having said that we will miss him as we now don't have a true goalscorer in the team. £300k is too much to turn for a player who is limited and out of contract next summer. Wish him all the best.
Brodes really is a fantastic lad who i've been in the company of hi a number of times and he really did love York but unfortunately for the lad i think he's a bit of a marked man this year both physically being marked and the ref's knowing he dives etc so i only predicted a 15+ season from him this year even at York.

A club like ours can't turn down that money, but we're a minor party in this story.
Crawley. That's over £750k they've spent on players alone this summer. We were in for Matt Tubbs as well as them, but Foyle is on record as saying we can't compete with their "silly wages". It's a house of cards. Boston fans know how the next act of this play goes.

You believe he's up to no good again?

Evans in particular? I'm sure I wouldn't have a clue (or the lack of awareness to post allegations on a public messageboard). But the whole set-up at Crawley, frankly, stinks. And lest I'm accused of sour grapes, I thought that prior to the Brodie move as well.
