Have to say I disagree, they took the best TE availible who will help take some of the short route coverage away from Johnson. Pettigrew can block as well.

Maybe so but you don't pass on somebody to protect your franchise QB who you are paying the most guaranteed money to. A TE can be servicable and found later. An elite OT you don't move over if you need one.

I don't rate Matthews at all, but i'm willing to go with Ted Thompson. He's very good at drafting and obviously thinks alot of Clay to move up which he never does.
We gave up way too much though.
We could have stayed put, taken Everette Brown at 41 and then got somebody at OT and a RB in round 3.
