Our team for tomorrow, apparently. Really looking forward to it now, just want to see us back in action (not sure why though). I hope Hughton will have the likes of Vuckic, Ranger and LuaLua on the bench.

West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Newcastle United...
Lucky escape for Newcastle at the end albeit definitely offside, I thought West Brom were the slightly better side and Newcastle have Tim Krul to thank for keeping them in the game, Positives for both sides evident...

That was a much better game than the Fri night game.If Middlesbrough and Sheff Utd are 2 of the favourites for promotion there's hope for Newcastle yet.

Just got back, really enjoyed that. Well fought out game that could have gone either way but I think a draw was the fair result.
Alan Smith was superb, not a clue where that performance came from. Tim Krul was also brilliant. I've been calling for him to be given a chance in the team ever since Given left, really pleased he got the opportunity to show what he can do.
Ryan Taylor and Coloccini were awful. Shola wasn't much better, not a clue how he stayed on that long, especially considering Carroll came off before him too.
Finally, the atomsphere was amazing today. Really pleased that football's back, plenty of positives to take from the game too. It's a shame we changed the team around from what it was meant to be, reckon we could have won it had Barton started from the off instead of Shola. If we can bring a couple of players in, mainly a centre back and a striker, we could have a chance of promotion.
