Fair play to Button but I think he had no Real competiton and thats what makes a Champion even Schumacer had competition in his championships Hill, Villeneuve, and Hakkinen, to name 3
but I just dont picture Button as a champion Driver......
6 years and 113 races without a win can usually tell a tale....
in the same way if Robbie Savage went to Man United and Won the League and cup double and was crowned player of the Year it would just seem "odd"...

No real competition?
You mean apart from his team-mate and the two Red Bull drivers?

"Real" competition isnt from a bloke that took 7 years to get his first win in Mark weber
and Hamilton being the exception Rookies like Vettel dont challenge for titles he may have finished 2nd but he never put Button under pressure.......
and Rubens Barrichello should be british he's always the runner up isnt he......
would you fancy Button for the title next year if he stays at Brawn?because Mclaren wont get caught with their pants down again and Ferrari will have Alonso.... so when world champions are competing against him and breathing down his neck every step of the way lets see...

Toyota have pulled out of next year's F1 due to "financial reasons". I can see a smug Moseley going "told you so" now, althougth the FIA are checking the legality of the pull out.

Well either way, it certainly makes things interesting. Wonder if McLaren will stick with the equal treatment to both drivers and let them race each other?
