He had nothing on Vansummeren. His whole kit was ripped to shreds. The irony is that Garmin were probably moving up to the front to protect Hesjedal for the finish, that's why they were pretty much all in the crash.

Impressive show of strength by Sky today. One by one, they dropped away. Only Evans could stick with them, but Wiggo looked more comfortable in the last 200m than the reigning champ. Good effort by Froome, race blown apart.
