Can't say i know of him but wikipedia says Eric Crouch won the 2001 Heisman at Nebraska, was drafter by St. Louis and then was a Packer in 2003/2004 but only on our practise squad.
Indeed that is why Smith has struggled, and it doesn't bode well for Tebow that 5 years later he still hasn't done much (actually has more INT's than TD's).

Thats him, he was unbelievable in college. There are rumors swirling that the St. Louis Rams are interested in trading down from the No. 1 overall pick in the draft in order to acquire additional draft picks and veteran players. The rumor has it that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could strike a blockbuster trade with the Rams that would enable them to take Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh with the first pick.. The Rams would then get the third overall pick in the draft and quarterback Josh Johnson from Tampa. It’s no secret that St. Louis is quarterback shopping. With the third overall pick the Rams could sign Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford or even Jimmy Clausen from Notre Dame. Don’t rule out Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick winding up there either.

Yeah i've heard both of those rumours. Mike Vick wouldn't be worthwhile.
The Tampa trade i believe your correct was apparently Josh Johnson, swapping first round picks and Tampa's 3rd round pick also.
I've said all along they should get Clausen, who is excellent, so the trade wouldn't be bad if they could move down, still get the player and make some extra picks. Also it's no secret that i really like Josh Johnson so it would be OK.
I have a hard time seeing it happening and if they are intent on moving down they could get more than that or at least look for more. On the TVC that places Josh Johnson as worth the 35th pick, which he isn't.
Interesting trade i saw earlier was Randy Moss to us in exchange for B.J Raji.. I'd be horrified if it happened. A. We don't need Moss when we have Driver and Jennings. B. Even if we needed a WR he wouldn't be worth trading our future NT and basically saying he is equivalent to #9 pick overall. The website doesn't seem very reliable so i take it with a pinch of salt, the website also says that Peyton Manning is retiring.

As i've said previously i aren't big on the college game but i've been watching what you guys have said and looked at the guys you have talked about.
Conroy - doesn't Clausen also have some injury problems? Also isn't his character "questionable"? I've read he has an attitude problem with team mates and he has had a few off the field incidents. No idea if any of this is correct but it would seem like a hell of a gamble for my Rams to take him high if it is true.

Nah, Manning has years left. He'll want to bow out with the Lombardi, not solely the AFC title.

Clausen had a toe injury before the season and played through it and posted one of the best junior seasons ever. He's missing the combine because of it (Bradford is also skipping it) but is going to put on individual workouts if his surgery is succeful (which the surgeon has said it was).
Character concerns all stem from the fact that he turned up to the College Football Hall Of Fame (In his senior year at high school so he be what? 18/19) in a limo and a white fur coat and plays for probably the most disliked college. That is it. Nothing else. His team mates really like him and say he is a leader (4 4th quarter comebacks suggest they buy into him). Oh and he was punched in the face in a bar.

I can understand that Clausen comes across as quite arrogant, but so does Phillip Rivers.
I've seen it suposedly said in a few articles that he has "character concerns", but i've looked more into it and there really are none. People interpret not liking him because he comes across as quite cocky to him having character concerns.
Is he Tebow-level angelic. No, but he hasn't got any problems, hasn't been arrested and the team mates like him.
