Thats pretty pathetic.
It's not pathetic at all.
We're playing awful ourselves for reasons I've mentioned on here before and probably will do again but whether it's one goal or one point we're still ahead, that's the point I was making.

One can only think what they would of been like had it been Rafa or maybe some other non UK manager..
But it's Roy Hodgson, the all conquering Roy who's biggest achivement is getting Fulham to a Europa League Final. It's embarrassing how much defending a British coach can get, as you say if that was a foreigner he'd be getting plenty of bad press.

He'd be getting the knife stuck into him having just lost at home to the team with the worst away record in the country until tonight, think its Barnet who have it now..

And, not being biased, Wolves could've had another one or two and ended up looking quite comfortable to the win. No wonder there was a round of boo's after the game. If he's one of the best British coaches we've got no wonder teams all go foreign.

You only have to look at Wilkins-gate to see how the British press love their own. Wilkins was an assistant, well praised by Ancelotti, but really not that pivotal, but the press would have you believe he's the one who brought in Drogbarr, Essien, Malouda etc. and he's the one who picks the team and wins CL titles with AC Milan.
The press obviously want a British coach to succeed at a big club, it's a rarity these days and, with the hate campaign for Capello in sixth gear, they'll do anything to justify the 'we need a British manager' claims.

Redknapp's the only one with relative success and he's achieved very little as it stands.
The media always overhype all things British but I also think Wilkins was quite pivotal in Chelsea's success over the years but nothing that can't be replaced in time.

Typical blinkered Liverpool fans....Yes, Hodgson is doing poorly results-wise, and I agree he is probably on borrowed time, but why vent all your anger at him, when you have a supposedly superstar striker spending all his time sulking around the pitch, showing minimum effort?
Torres is a disgrace....He is the epitome of the mercenary footballer. All smiles and great form when the sun is shining and things are going well - When the chips are down they disappear and go moping about, pretending its anybody's fault but their own.
By all means, boo Hodgson, but don't be hypocritical and allow Torres and his like to get away with Liverpool's poor form as though they are scot-free of any blame.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....
