I did see they'd lost the GSOD to SKY but it's a shame all darts have gone. Would be really good to at least have this one there.

In only his 2nd match as a PDC player, Chizzy hit a nine darter in his 6-5 Halle Players Championship loss against VDVV.

You forgot to mention the important news of the day though, Mervyn King won it :CROWN: beating Van Der Voort in final. Much needed win too.

Andy Smith got a good win over Taylor too.

Very good tournament (though the feed quality was awful at times) and a real shame the PDC did not get it on TV. Not sure why Sky could not be persuaded to take it as their schedules were hardly brimming with top sport last weekend but there you go.

I hear that Anastasia has gone back to the BDO.

She has though The Sun did claim she was the first to defect back from the PDC to the BDO which was plainly wrong but once she did not have a tour card there was nothing in the PDC for her and not winning the PDC Women's World Title was the begining of the end for her.

Wasn't Wolfie Adams in the PDC back in the day? I'm sure I remember seeing him crash out of the early rounds of the Worlds when I first started watching darts as a lad.

I don't think he was but I'm sure someone will be able to inform you better than I can.
