Looking at the table, its possible Spurs could pinch 3rd place if they win and Arsenal lose at the weekend. Can't see it happening though as I think Arsenal will beat a Fulham side who will have one eye on the Europa League final.

Anyone see Totti's red card tonight? You do have to wonder what goes through a footballer's mind when he does something like that in a cup final. Not sure if it's on the video sharing site, but I'm sure it'll be out there somewhere.
I thought it was pretty funny to be honest, we've all done that from time to time. For most it happened to be on the school playing fields and not in the San Siro though.
Totti said it was revenge for 'what Balotelli did'. What did he do? I thought it was interesting that a couple of the Inter players patted him on the back as if they were congratulating him on it.

Haven't the slightest to be honest, he has a bad reputation, largely down to his attitude and antics to the media, but I was unaware of a problem with Totti.
Did anyone see Taddei's attempt as well on the final whistle? That could have been a red, his tackle on Motta was a bit dirty as well, yet Taddei somehow went down holding his face!

Yeah, Spurs could end up finishing 3rd. And if they do, THEN they can say they are playing Champions League football.
You know when the little league clubs play in round 1 & 2 of the FA Cup, or when non-league clubs play in the qualifying rounds to try and get into the 1st round draw???............
IT IS STILL THE FA CUP
Similarly, just because all the big boys aren't in it, it doesn't mean the qualifying rounds are not the Champions League.
Well done Spurs, they have deserved it for their run-in performances alone!!

Wonder who'll be the first city fan to come on here and proclaim that 'the plan was always top 6 this year' and 'we're ahead of schedule'. They'll doubtless spunk another 200 million in the summer and get it next year. Then, they'll REALLY take off and change the face of football for the next 5 years. Apparently.
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
