Last night's Raw was probably the best 3 hour gimmick Raw idea the WWE's has had.
My only complaints with it were the fact that every so called "Legend" or "Hall of Famer" is treated as a joke or comedy figure. Which is a stupid move by WWE. Case in point, last night's Piper's Pit: An old school guy in the middle, treating the whole thing seriously and it really helped put over the title and the title match for Sunday. But so often the WWE just has the old guys being stupid back stage.
My other complaint: Michael Cole. The match where they got JR back to do commentary, JR was professional and tried to get over the match and the guys involved while Cole just goes "blah blah blah everybody look at me". Cole has never been my favourite colour guy as I find him boring and he never seems to be able to get you involved in a match the way Jim Ross can.
Now, it's probable that Cole had Vince in his ear all match and Vince has a thing for humiliating JR. It's a shame because I think that JR is hands down the BEST announcer in wrestling history and his removal from Raw has hurt the show.
When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Agree about JR. Last nights guess spot showed exactly how poor Cole is. I know he is basically Vince's puppet even on his best day he will never be able to immerse viewers into a match the way JR can.
Unfortunately Cole and Lawler don't work together. There needs to be a top play by play man with them.

Shame Jesse The Body's not involved in wrestling on a regular basis anymore - great commentator he was.
Hey speaking of great commentators, WWE are releasing a profile DVD of Bobby The Brain Heenan soon, what an absolute legend.

Used to come out with some great one liners and had great timing.
Absolutely, him & Gorilla Monsoon as a double act are right up there with JR & The King. Heenan's performance on commentary at the 1992 Royal Rumble is still talked about today - simply outstanding.
Hey just noticed on WWE Shopzone they've started releasing retro t-shirts (e.g. Steve Austin, The Rock etc), hope Euroshop do the same.

That's a great level of talent that's already confirmed as coming over, and I know someone in particular who will be pleased Tara is coming over.

Woo-hoo!!!
What an awesome tour it's going to be. Got a Fan Interaction ticket (+ normal ticket) for the Manchester one, wonder if Ted Dibiase Sr will be free to bless a quick wedding that day.
So Lister, any help on where I can buy a Tara TNA figure to get signed mate?
