And even after that he still has a -1 score for the season. Just shows how poor defensivly we have been.
Gustavson (spelling?) was impresive between the pipes. Hopefully he can give bit of stability there and limit the amount of soft goals that the leafs have been shipping.

Great rivelry game last night between the habs and the leafs. Disapointed that the habs snuck the win, 4-3 in a shoot out, but it was a great game.
This past week the leafs have at least shown that they have a stomach for a fight. On a 4 game road trip against the ducks, stars, sabres and habs the leafs have won 1 and had 3 OT loses. Hopefully they can play with the same amount of determination back at the ACC, starting on Tuesday against the lightning, where Kessel may make his leafs debut.

The leafs are now unbeaten in regulation in their last 5 games, unfortunately they have lost the last 4 in OT or SO.
Last night they chalked up a dissapointing 2-1 OT loss to a lightning team that had been spanked 6-2 24hrs earlier by an under strength flyers side.
We certainly look a little better than 10 days ago, but they must start turning some of these tight games into wins.

Leafs beat the Wings 5-1 on home ice to go to 3-0-4 over the last 7 games. Another excellent performance by The Monster between the pipes to back up his performance in Carolina yesterday

Two excellent performances from Gustavson (spelling?) 34 saves on Friday night in the win against the Canes and backed it up with 35 saves last night. Just proves that the points will start flowing if you have good goaltending.
Surprised to hear during the comentry of last nights game that the Leafs have the second best powerplay in the league
