As for the game, i had no real problem with Conlon being upfront on his own to begin with. We gave Leeds one hell of a game, and we took a great following and sang to the death! The real problem I had is why McCall didn't throw Boulding on earlier, after we pulled it back to 2-1.
If I wanted to be critical and sounding bitter, it was never a penalty, and our disallowed goal was never offside! But you need a little bit of luck to edge these games, and Leeds did edge it.. slightly!
Plenty of optimism to be taken out of this one lads.
Could not agree more,if we play like we did last night for the rest of the season then we should have no problem being promoted, they were a few mistakes at the back which almost cost us a goal so that needs to be sorted out quickley, also am i right in thinking Thorne didnt play because he doesent train with the squad on mondays?
As for any trouble i certainly didnt see any,it did get quite annoying being kept in the stadium half an hour after the final whistle then being escorted down the road by riot police
Back to winning ways, a good 2-0 win at Port Vale - sounds like it followed a similar pattern to our other wins this season, take control and get a lead then ease off a bit, sounded like we defended very well again - then Peter Thorne pops up to seal it.

An interesting comment off the T&A site:
Quote:no clarke for most of the game at Aldershot and concede 3.
Clarke in 4 other league games concede 1.
are there any conclusions to be drawn here from those who doubt his suitability as a central defender is this league.
It's a terrific point IMO, he's a rock-solid defender and we look far better with him in the side than Bower.
