Although the Aussies are, in general, racists they regard conitinental Europeans as Western Oriental Gnretlemen. yet the Aussie team has included many players from this part of the world. As long as the 'foreigners' are good at sport, they are accepted by Aussies.

You only have to look at Aussies' attitudes towards the Lebanese community and then compare this with the favourable way in which they treat El Masri.

I really do hope Australia get smashed in the World Cup.
