I've never really seen a pen given for a high foot like that before, it was strange.
You see it happen quite a lot, the attacking player going for the ball, the defending player hooks it clear acrobatically. I don't think it was that bad a call, I just want to see them given every week if they are pens.

Well you don't set clean sheet records by not playing well
Maybe the flair and exuberance hasn't quite been there but they had a period when they were very solid.
Putting rivalry bias aside, I know they've been the best side for alot of the season, but there are 20 teams in the league and yet 5 player out of the 6 nominated are Man Utd players?!? I'd have thought some of the nominees for young player deserve to be on the big list more not to mention some great performers from clubs outside of the top 4.

I just dont understand how giggs is on it he hasnt played enough if you ask me

As surprised as I am to see Giggs nominated, I think we have to trust the nominations. I know they're only professional footballers rather than rank amateurs on RL Fans Other Sports message board but I think the PFA members might have a rough idea of what makes a good player.
