No player is worth £80million. Ronaldo believes he is bigger than the club at time, so i'm not too disappointed to see him go. I was saying last season when he was supposedly going for £70million that United should accept, but £80million is even better. Lets face it, Ronaldo hasn't been as good last season as the season before, and United still went on to win trophies, and get to finals. I have faith in Fergie that he will replace him, if not with quality, with someone with great potential to be the next Ronaldo.

I'm surprised you all think that £80 million is going to get spent on players. Most of it will be banked for the next lot of interest payments...
Last time United spent 'big' under the Glazers, it was all installment payments and money based on players' performances, i.e. an extra few million quid here and there if the club won something. Not one big lump sum.
Anyway...
Thanks for the memories Ronaldo. No matter what all the ABUs say you've been one of, if not the most talented footballer to grace the English leagues for I don't know how many years. I'll never forget his debut against Bolton - absolutely magical to watch. There was a buzz around OT that's not been seen for a long time over just one player. But, life goes on.

It's a fantastic price to get for him considering his heart is no longer in the club. Hopefully, some of the rumours floating round of Benzema, Ribery, Valencia can now become reality if Fergie gets the cash to spend on transfers in summer.

This can be the case with people of mixed race, and it's also the case where people have ancestors who were slaves and were, therefore, given the family names of their owners – which in many cases would be northern European names.
And England is not "in the middle of Europe", as even some basic knowledge of geography would show him.
Given the ethnic diversity of the current England squad, Fredie's claim that four players (with names that he recognises as non-traditional English ones) are picked as a "token" merely illustrates, yet again, that he can manage to make pig shît look intelligent.
can anybody give a reason why there is only 4 in the team . when england is so multicultial . ?? they are not playing??? not good enough??? dont u have 1 of the biggest junior pools to choose from in the world ???

I'll give the "reason" that you're pig thick and haven't a clue what you're waffling about – which is why you're still pestering on like this.
And if you 'think' that the England squad that you listed isn't 'multicultial' [sic], then you illustrate yet again your total ignorance of the subject.
To put some flesh on the bones, my dim little friend – last night's squad against Andorra had 18 players in it. Eight of those players are black, thus not from a white Anglo-Saxon ethnic background.
Now slither off back to your patch of primordial sludge like a good little prokaryote.

Not really sure what you can read from a name?? Do you expect all the players to be called Smith or Higginbottom.
However there were 8 players in the 18 man match day squad that played Andorra of none-caucasian origins.
