so to prove me wrong, you've actually pointed out part of the WWE propaganda/involvement, therefore reinforcing what i'm saying. A WWE produced documentary about WWE involvement isn't exactly likely to be scathing and whilst i'm not denying that vince did help them out, it's no independant in any way.
Here's another example for you, one night stand in 05, that was a WWE backed snapshot of classic ecw, but a few days before there was a lot of that talent plus others that didn't want to work for vince that did the Hardcore re-union thing which was more ecw-esque. Thats where lbue meanie got his head cut open which jbl then went on to burst his stitches.
theres a lot of ecw fans that have spoken out about that, pointing out that it's not done from a true ecw involvement pov.

history is writen by the winners. hence the monday night wars dvd was about as even handed as it's likely a wwe documentry could get same goes for the rise and fall of ecw

Do you watch and believe fox news a lot?
This.
The new WCW DVD doesn't even feature Eric Bischoff, it's like telling Harry Potter without Voldermort

If it's not drugged up hooligans beating the poop out of each other in a school gym in front of 30 people then it's not ECW.
To be honest I watched a lot of it at the time. There was some obvious talent but the programme generally was poop & 80% of the roster was poop. Where would the Dudleys be without Vince McMahon ???

What a change it makes!
Some actual good booking by WWE, I'd like to think it'll last but I doubt it.
