I thought the Scottish crowd were a disgrace last night and the PDC should seriously consider whether or not to go back to Glasgow. I'm no huge fan of Mardle or Taylor but the conduct of the "fans" was totally unaccpetable.
The PDC is beginning the sell out big style.

It's not just Glasgow though, is it?
Crowd behaviour at PDC events is an issue right across the PDC calendar, with the possible exception of the Desert Classic.
The PL in particular is seen as an excuse to go have a good booze up and get a bit lairy in a way that would get you thrown out of football stadia these days.
It's what happens when you sell your ethics to the lowest bidder.

Apart from the apple throwing incident, I didn't see or hear anything that was too different to what passes for normal at a PL event.
The booing of Taylor reached it's crescendo when he goaded them, so it's not as though he wanted it stopped.
As Andy says, if you encourage people to treat these nights as a glorified booze up, you've got to expect behaivour like this.

I'm sorry, but as a PDC viewer for nearly 10 years I have never seen anything like that. Booing a player so aggressively when he is throwing for doubles is appalling. Fair enough, a few shouts etc but they were throwing against ALL of Taylor and Mardles doubles for the whole match which is appalling IMO.
And yes, I agree with your last point which is why I condemed it. Nothing has changed since the World Championships at the Circus Tavern, it was a beer up then and still is, but the levels it have gone to now are getting beyond a joke and even putting me off tbh.
And nobody can accuse me of saying this because I am biased towards Taylor as I can't stand the man.

Glasgow is by far the worst i've seen it. No problems to that extent at any of the "majors", its just these Premier League events which are descending into farce.
