Ah right. Got 50 on and 50 on the Fly/Quevega double. Resisting the temptation to top up any more, think I'm gonna sit tight til declarations are made now, perhaps a small lay on Sprinter Sacre to cover my back.
im gonna lay either sprinter sacre or sizing europe i think, if confident enough lol.
zarkandar n binocular wont go down without a fight, wind op really seems to have improved binocular.
fair play to hills for laying this offer. i thought it'd be an hour long nasty little marketing scam, only catering for cheapskates like myself, but they are putting themselves there to be taken on.
William Hill @racingkate Hurricane Fly 5-4 not going to be there much longer. Laid for over £250k this morning. Over 3500 customers accomodated. Average £50 stake.
Paddy Power doing money back if Sprinter Sacre wins the Arkle. Considering having a play on Al Ferof with this in mind, although something tells me Menorah has a big run in him this season, even if he's been sketchy at best over fences so far. Tough, tough race to call.
al ferof is my pick at the minute. but sprinter sacre could blow them all out of the water - cant be sure of that though.
call me sceptical, but when i see betting spokespeople/marketing puppets claiming to have laid 250k in one morning, it reminds me of fat wilshire running around with his made-up betting slips for "fawwwwty five faaaaaaaznd paaands" during royal ascot or epsom.
plus, every time there is a well backed fave in a race that attracts bets from racing and non-racing followers - eg kauto when odds on for the gold cup etc - the bookies are always looking at a 'two million pound payout'.

Topped up on the fly this morning with the Hills offer.

I'm feeling the same about Menorah, if he can put in a big round of jumping - which is a big ask! - then he has to be in the shake up, he's only ran in small fields leading upto it so hopefully the pace of a bigger field will help him.

Arkle is looking like the race of the week for me, hopefully Cue Card sets a good clip early on and doesn't give Sprinter Sacre the opportunity to cruise it on the bridle. Ryanair looks v.competitive and of good quality too, 5 or 6 with big claims there.

the 5/4 has went, fly is now 4/5. white flag waved.
Valid point really, I probably just hold a soft spot for the horse cos I backed it in the Supreme in 2010. Realistically it's best watched until it shows anything like fluency over jumps. Hobbs is having a tough time with his stable stars this year.
baffling to say the least his choice of races for wishful thinking and captain chris, if the latter was mine he'd be going for the champion chase - the arkle is the best trial going.
