Not sure whether this has been mentioned already, but Goran Pandev has been released from his contract at Lazio. I'd imagine the like of Spurs, Villa and maybe Liverpool will be taking a look at him.
Great to see Mark Hughes with egg on his face at Christmas. Sure he'll get a few million but he had that anyway. His smug, arrogant tone and superiority complex can now be reassessed over the festive period while all the other managers he was so rude to can enjoy the football.

It was a great opportunity for any manager to thrust himself into the limelight even before the takeover and any manager in his position would have taken it.
