Salford 7/5 tonight is a cracking price IMO.

They haven't exactly performed badly against Leeds and Bradford in the last fortnight whilst the Dragons... well.... you know.....

They are 1.95 HT/FT though which looks good.

Still not sure how the pies managed to screw that one up!

Was funny though.

Our Vic 10/1 E/W Newbury 3.10

Classic Dream 8/1 E/W Newbury 3.45

Put it in a cheeky 98/1 E/W double with Our Vic

Possol 9/2 Donny 3.25

And a little on Killyglen to place 9/2 in the hope that cheekpieces do the job.

Decent profit today from some good place odds.

One left Washington Irving 3/1 in the next at Kelso up and down in the market.

So pleased I didn't bother with the Wildcats v Giants fixture last night. I considered (earlier in the day) backing Wakefield.

I had Hudds in a treble with Wigan ( ) and Saints. I thought it was the bet of the round imo, couldn't believe that some bookies had Wakey down as favourites.

I thought the bookies had called it about right to be fair....we've started well and were coming off the back of a home win against Leeds and a very unlucky defeat away to Saints and although Huddersfield have always seemed to have something over us, I'd have just fancied us to edge a close one, especially with them missing quality like Hodgson, Mason, Drew, Wild etc....

Don't think anyone predicted that was gonna happen, and I'm just glad I didn't go with my instincts and back us. It was bad enough watching it, but if I'd have lost money on it too I would have been even sicker! :o
