Chiellini of Juve and Subotic of Dortmund might be reasonable shouts.

Chiellini would be a great buy. It will be interesting to see the mix of players that Mancini brings in, hopefully not all Italians.

He was linked to City along with Agüero and Maicon in Marca today.

Where is Messi? :wink:

Interesting team, can't say I agree with all of it. Would have had Ronaldo on the right with Xavi in the middle. Nesta over Carvalho and Cannavaro, easily. Inzaghi over Torres, Zambrotta over Ramos, Pirlo on the bench over Beckham.

I think Raul merits a mention for his form throughout the decade.

I liked Raul but he never struck me as an outstanding player in any department bar consistency and effort. His record speaks for itself but I always preferred Inzaghi, even after he done us in '07 :(

Inzaghi is a machine - like RVN for me.

Raul
1994– Real Madrid 533 (226)
1996–2006 Spain 102 (44)

Pippo
1991–1995 Piacenza 39 (15)
1992–1993 → Leffe (loan) 21 (13)
1993–1994 → Verona (loan) 36 (13)
1995–1996 Parma 15 (2)
1996–1997 Atalanta 33 (24)
1997–2001 Juventus 122 (58)
2001– Milan 172 (68)
1997–2007 Italy 56 (24)

Ruud
1994–1997 Den Bosch 69 (17)
1997–1998 Heerenveen 31 (13)
1998–2001 PSV Eindhoven 67 (62)
2001–2006 Manchester United 150 (95)
2006– Real Madrid 68 (46)
1998– Netherlands 64 (33)

In fact, looking at those, if you are going on goals alone - Ruud by a distance, ridiculous from PSV onwards

Catalonia beat Argentina 4-2 in a great game at the Camp Nou last night.

Catalan XI:
Valdés;
Bruno, Oleguer, Puyol, Capdevila;
Piqué, Xavi, Busquets;
Verdú, Bojan,Sergio García.
