TBH I was thinking "Great win for Yanited." 3-1 away at Everton with the granny shagger is a good result. I then go back to the BBC website that was open and they've drawn 3-3.

Two great chances for Utd at 3-1 but Berbatov/Nani went for glory rather than passing to better placed team-mates. In the same situation Chelsea would've won 5-1. Don't have much confidence in Utd away from home at the moment which is pretty strange.

Saddened! wrote:I thought we saw the best and worst of Everton. They had large spells of dominance in the game today. They had United under all sorts of pressure and got 17 attempts on goal in, more than their opponents once more today. More possession, more shots, more on target, more corners. But they conceeded two really, really soft goals and United could have scored 10. It took Everton 92 minutes to put a proper cross in despite being in the position to put balls in all game. When they came, the two that produced the goals were fantastic by Baines.

I thought Scholes was fantastic for United, but they can't have that midfield against the likes of Chelsea as they would get mullered.

The referee rightly got a roasting from Davey Moyes at the end. He was simply awful. Johnny Evans and Vidic fouled Cahill almost every time the ball went near him. They were allowed to charge into his back and very often with Evans who is an absolute donkey, he just ran into Cahill with his elbows into the back of his head. The one or two times Cahill had a dig back he was penalised for it. How he got through that game without losing his rag with someone is beyond me. Vidic's reaction when Cahill did return one of the elbows was hillarious, what an absolute fanny. And the end? How controversial was that? I'd love to see the ref explain that one. Board says 3 minutes and there are 2 goals, at least one corner in the injury time and he only adds 20 seconds? Bizarre that he called time when Everton had a 6 on 2 situation and I'm not surprised Moyes was a little bothered by it. Is the ref really suggesting they only wasted 20 seconds celebrating two goals and a waiting for a corner? Utterly bizarre.

Stunning post, I think that sums everything up perfectly tbh mate well said. The goals we conceded were very soft indeed, sloppy defending but they did have numerous chances to extend the lead but they didn't take them. They'll look back and say they should've won the game but they didn't take their chances and we did albeit late on. Superb result in the end, heading into injury time 3-1 down to then finish up 3-3 is bizarre.

The only thing I'd add to your post is how well Yakubu played when he came on, the twenty minutes Moyes eventually gave him I thought he was outstanding. He was physical and gave Vidic and Evans something to think about. He held the ball up well, he was strong, led the line well, laid the ball off well making some intelligent runs and his play for Osman's chance was quality, held off 4 or 5 united players before playing Ossie through on goal. Not only all that but it allowed Cahill to move back into the role he plays so well, playing off the front man.

Absolutely. He made us a different side when he came on.

With the players he has wasted money on and the way results are going surely Wee Chesney is on borrowed time at the Riverside.

For me he has to start next Saturday now with Cahill playing just off, I'm certain we'll find an end to our scoring problems.

Spot on. Although Moyes said he wasn't fit to play 90 mins maybe he will be by next week.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: yes I think he is. I think Casillas is the most overrated player in the world alongside Rooney, however surreal that may seem.

Decent point at Everton, they probably deserved the win. That's 2 games we've let leads slip but on the brightside we lost at both thos places last year.
