I don't need the English players at all! I've got some promising kids coming through, Micah Richards (who is the subject of a 40 million pound bid from Arsenal - tempting..) amongst others.
I acquired Huntelaar, he's scored 2 in his first friendly, he cost £16 million.
I was looking at Diarra, and a better option than Barry, seen as though Villa want in excess of 30 million for him!
Need a left back too, looking at Bale. Got 80 million transfer kitty again!

For left backs, try and sign Monzon from Boca if he hasn't signed at Betis, even though most coaches only rate him at 3/4*, he's a quality defender, with bags of pace and decent going forward, too. If not him, then Marcell Jansen ain't that bad.
Lassana Diarra is good, that Marchisio is meant to be class. Momo Sissoko is immense for the engine-room-type.
Ilsinho is a quality right back and wing back, from Shakhtar.
Well worth signing also Vela from Arsenal is fantastic on the game and always bangs em in

Slightly disappointed that I was top from December until mid-March, managed to cock that up somehow in a Liverpool-esque fashion (did the double on Liverpool, beat Man United twice and drew with them once) but couldn't beat the Portsmouth's of the league.
Also, the club is haemorrhaging money, I spent £85 million on transfers but lost another £30 million over the course of the season. Hopefully CL revenue, and some deadwood being cleared (ala Jo on his ridiculous wages) will sort out the money.
Goals were a problem too, especially when you look at my strikers below!
Team was, for the majority of the season:
Sergio Asenjo (signed from Valladolid for £7.25 million)
Richards Dunne Martin Caceres (signed from Barca for £12 million) Javier Garrido
Wright-Phillips Gelson Fernandes Joao Moutinho (signed from Sporting for £13.75 million) Yury Zhirkov (signed from CSKA for 13.75 million)
Robinho Sergio Aguero (signed from Atletico for the prisely sum of £33 million)
I'm after somewhere in the region of £30 million to spend next season, to get a new CF and a dominant centre midfielder, Huntelaar and Barry with a bit of luck.
How did you sign Caceres from Barca ? As he is in the first year of his Barca contract.
Ive just gone out of the FA cup in my first season as Everton coach by a 119 penalty by Dirk Kuyt.
What im annoyed about is the fact it was Tim Cahill who made the challenge when i'd decided to sub him five minutes earlier! It says making changes when the ball goes out of play but then it waits untill a goal kick or free kick till the change is actually made.
By the way i'm currently 3rd in the Premier League after 24 games.

I despize of it, I really do. I've had players injured, sent off and had penalties conceded, despite making subs 5mins earlier.

Well the players need time to warm up
And you seen how long it took C.Ronaldo to be replaced when he went off in a sulk whilst Ferguson was sat in the stands.
Your not even in Stadium
Yeah can be annoying but dislike the fact that the tactics screen doesn't stay on if you press it again by mistake (say the speed of game is slow) which wastes more time.
Early december 09 now. Didn't get to sell Ferdinand. But either Rio or Evra will be gone in january for £30Million. Rio preferably.

Possibly mamadou Sakho from PSG as he can cover DL and DC although i like the look of Federico Fazio from Sevilla. Did try to sign him but ran out of money. Alternatively i could just recruit from within. Have two 16 year olds who could prove competent and then there is Johnny Evans who is quite decent, again a DL or DC. Then there is Santon on the right who is being retrained on left...
Either way with a high transfer fee, i will be looking to invest in the future heavily.
