Perhaps Tony Blair would like to press AFC Norbiton's claim for the spare space in the Conference South from the despatch box as his last act as Prime Minister

Boston kicked out of the BlueSq Premier. Altrincham reprieved.
Great news all round.
Boston have been launched because their CVA proposed not paying football creditors in full, a regulation which all other football clubs have to adhere to - even Leeds. There's a certain amount of schadenfreude at their plight and a growing belief in karma from my perspective.

And if this happened you'd have a sex-wee wouldn't you? As well would all of the country. Amazing for a club that's "Not famous anymore".. Can crop up in all threads, such as a non league one. Priceless.

The point I was rather effectively making is that even the 1p in the pound Bates proposal doesn't mean that football creditors get anything other than the full amount. See, what I was doing was comparing and contrasting two potless clubs one of which is following the rules and one which isn't. It's called constructing an argument.

Yup, but I'm saying you would love it for Leeds to go down even further, wouldn't you?

Potless, aren't Leeds favourites for the Johnson's Paint?

Couldn't really give a rats ass. Rather less than impressed by the way the whole situation has been handled and there's something very murky going on which probably won't come out into the public domain for some years.
Leeds are not our rivals. Never have been, probably never will be. So Leeds' plight is not something that keeps me awake at night.

I take it you are gutted with the problems on the east coast...

I take no pleasure in their demise, but when you've been as badly run as they have for so long, the current situation becomes inevitable at some stage.
