For you all to see the same words being used by a white man against a black man as opposed to a black man insulting another black man shows how clueless you are.

Then again reducing the issue of racism down to language is a very good middle class approach to discrediting the anti racist struggle.

By the way Ferdinand was right. Ashley Cole is a choc ice.

Guess it's also not racist in any way if a white person criticises another white person for 'trying to be black' and labelling them as a 'wigga' too...

Ferdinand's a self-righteous, self-obsessed hypocrite although some of those words can be used to describe plenty of footballers, so he's not alone there.

Lord God Jose Mourinho wrote:CFC will be condemned when they confirm that JT will still be captain.

So rather than be facing the full condemnation that JT will still be club captain in the build up to the home game against Spurs, it will simply be revealed when the team sheet is released in the build up to the game in Donetsk.

It begs the question as to how Chelsea would deal with the situation if any of their players were to be racially abused in Donetsk. Could John Terry become the first high profile captain to lead his team off of the pitch?

I think they'd be told to go out and win and shut them up. Then the club would register their complaint with UEFA and leave it up to them.

They'll be no winning today, hopefully there was no racism either.

I nearly witnessed one of the classic European performances tonight. Celtic have been absolutely brilliant tonight, Barcelona have been all over them for 94 minutes and haven't really created much at all and the winning goal was very unfortunate for Celtic, nothing they could really have done about that.

Where did Celtic dig up the boy Ambrose? He's a fantastic defender and could sort an errant Manchester United backline out sharpish on the evidence of tonight. 23/24 I believe from a mention on the TV at the weekend.

All this racism will be sorted if we have a black FA. Awesome idea, more division, bravo Peter Herbert. Another typical holier than thou black member of society.

On tonights game, Hernandez offers so much more than Welbeck, Rooney/RVP/Hernandez is a fearsome front 3. If Hernandez leaves next summer I will be devastated.

Horses for courses. Hernandez is a natural goalscorer, he's the guy you want up front when you know you are going to create chances. He's clinical and games like that tonight are made for him.

Welbeck is obviously not of the same goalscoring calibre, but away to Chelsea at the weekend where the United strikers will most likely be chasing the ball about for the vast majority of the 90 minutes and you'd want Welbeck to be playing.

I thought that idea was rather daft as well. Solve the problem with racism, not by changing our culture and making it clear to people that it's unacceptable, but by having all the black dudes form a gang. I'd like to hear what their ideas are for 'radical' action? Assassination of John Terry? Pre-emptive bombings?

I see your point, though i believe there's more to him than just that, his out-muscling of 2 Braga players on halfway while being fouled then creating a chance from it was excellent. I'll still be devastated if he leaves though, he's just so good to watch with his finishing and his movement, he's a proper hungry player. There ain't been LOTS of players left Utd where i'd been too bothered, but Hernandez would be one.

I think the assassination and bombings might be a bit much.... perhaps some stabbings?? (i'll clarify for the mods that this was a little joke!!!)

It's baffling though really, how does it make sense trying to solve division by creating MORE division? Clarke Carlisle, who inexplicably seems to be in a position of power seems to be against it at least.
