Definitely, superb ride.

Was never confident, thought L'ami looked very good all of the way through the race but Garde Champetre looked awesome over the last six or seven jumps. I'll take that anyway.

Special, special scenes on C4 racing, showing the reaction to what a horse you either own or have backed, means to you when winning at the festival.

Sent a chill down my spine and i am not even there.

Not bad for the first day, nothing quite like the buzz of the Cheltenham Festival, two 2nd's and a 1st, United in the last race to top the day off.

Enjoyable first day.

Bombed out of the placepot on leg 2 but backed two winners Wichita Lineman (with Star De Mohaison absent) and Garde Champetre. Also had each-way bets on Medermit, Nenuphar Collonges and Celestial Halo so enough to smile about.
