What a bizarre club Blackburn Rovers is.....They back Steve Kean through a disastrous season, ignoring constant supporter pressure, giving him little financial support and find themselves, unsurprisingly, relegated.
Despite this, they keep him in the job, hand him a fair sized amount of cash to splash, and they start the season in a half decent fashion.
So what do they do next??.....Sack him of course.
Of course, the Venkys are great comedy value to all outsiders looking in, but for Blackburn fans this is just piling up embarassment on top of embarrasment....Jack Walker must be spinning in his grave.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

Yes, I did.
Seeing as you ask, the reason I wrote that was because Paul Davis is the same Paul Davis who got banned for 9 games for BREAKING ANOTHER PLAYER'S JAW WITH A PUNCH. A detail the journo failed to mention when filling in the career details of this man who people clearly struggle to remember.
I kind of think someone who got a 9 match ban for breaking someone's jaw really isn't the best person to complaining about the length of someone else's sentence.
And I just find it ridiculous that three of Terry's quickest critics happen to be Barton, Collymore and Davis. What Terry has done in the entirety of his career doesn't add up to what each of those to55ers have done in a single incident.

Good mate of mine is a Rovers fan and he detests both Kean and the Venkys. They may have points on the board but their performances have been woeful apparently and it's a matter of time until they get pummelled.
Joey Barton, Stan Collymore, Paul Davis have all come out in condemnation of Terry.
It's enough to make you want to smash someone's jaw in.
Hypocrisy knows no bounds unfortunately. Collymore IMO is an excellent pundit, one of very few on TalkSport, talks a lot of sense. He is however very prone to becoming very uppity about racial issues, dismissing and retweeting anybody who seems to hold a different view to his own. Joey Barton...needs no words. I'll be honest, i've never heard of Paul Davis, he's from slightly before my time, but he seems in the same boat as Barton in the way that he's got no room to talk. Even before i looked at his profile on that link, i had a feeling he'd be somehow involved in the elevation of black people in football. Why is there the attitude of ''we NEED more black managers in football'' by the way? Isn't everybody supposed to be there on merit. not just for tokenism.
