The criticism of Webb being a Man Utd fan is going a bit far now. Even his kids, George, Alex, Cristiano and Eric have been forced to deny he is a Man Utd fan.

Thought he was assistant, but I do agree with you as he isn't lol.
I'm not Jesus Christ, I've come to accept that now.

Assistant, first team coach, yada yada, they are all just titles, as long as they are involved, the effect will be the same. Pako was allegedly our assistant years ago, but really, he was just a fitness coach that had daft amounts of support based on fables.
Everton have compounded their stupidity in the transfer market. After not meeting Pienaar's very reasonable demands he has now seemingly agreed a deal to join Spurs and we have now loaned Yakubu to Leicester. He cost £11m and would still have scored goals had he been trusted by Moyes.
Dieumerci Mbokani is rumoured to be coming the other way if Everton can match his wages and persuade him to join us rather than West Ham or Villa What is the world coming to?
For any that don't know him Mbokani is the guy that people were speculating was actually Castor Semenya the he-she she-he-god-who-knows 'female' athlete that got so much publicity a few years back.

He also only signed for Monaco in the summer so it does make you wonder why they're prepared to ship him out on loan for a million already already. Your first paragraph is spot on for me, Pienaar's been miles ahead of Arteta this season yet we coudn't get anywhere near his wages for Pienaar. The Yakubu one baffles me completely, as you say given a run of games he'll score goals, as he's proved since he's been in England. His two best games since he came back from injury were Liverpool and Stoke and then he was dropped. It's a complete fook up by Moyes, for me.

A goal every 4 games is not "he'll score goals". PLus, if you have a strike rate as poor as this, youd at least better have a massive worth ethic, something the lazy lump doesnt have. A shocking player who has found his level at Leicester. Waste of a shirt at Everton.

I'd agree with that.....His best period with us was his first season (2007/8), which seems to go along with the general opinion of Yakubu, which is that when he gets his feet under the table of a club, generally he becomes complacement.
Most Middlesboro fans were pretty unconcerned when he left there for Goodison, mainly because he'd become idle there as well.....The problem for them was that they never replaced him.
Hopefully for Everton that won't be so important, as Saha, when fit and given a run, is a better goalscorer and Beckford, hopefully with a run in the side, as the potential to be a useful player.
As for Yakubu at Leicester?....Well, with the new surroundings and lower standard of defending, he should be a very good signing, a little like when we sold Beattie to Sheff Utd and he began to bang in the goals again....Hopefully, if Yak does do well and gets Leicester up the table and possibly promoted, we might get a decent fee off them in the summer.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

Do you not remember him for Standard? Looked useful then, full of running and a good athlete. Moyes, as much as he's lauded for some of his signings in the transfer market, doesn't seem to be able to find a top striker. Or, a different view could be he can't get the best out of his strikers. Everton's strike force changes every year, I can't remember them having a striker that made me say 'He'll win them games this year'. AJ, Yak, Saha, Beattie, Anichebe, etc., all pretty darn average IMO.
