Massive game in the AFC east, AFC and the league really this week, Us and the Jesters on Monday Night Football, It`s another game either team could win (seems to be the norm for us Pats this year from my point of view) the only game I was confident of winning we lost ( Browns ) , Jim Leonard is a big loss for the Jets IMO, I am confident we can put points on the board as usual, but again I dont know what our Defense will do, we are a young unit who is a going to be great in the next few years(again IMO ), but at the moment we are very hit or miss, some spectacular plays mixed in with some crap TBH.
My head says Sanchez crumbles under the pressure and we win by 10+, my heart says just scrape a win and get the hell out of Foxboro!

Bring it on!!!
Carpe diem
I think you need to run more against the Jets as Brady has struggled against their corners. If the Pats run more they'll win with ease as the playaction will open up. I worry for your defence though you have relied on big plays to stop teams rather than limiting the length of drives. I hate you both so it's a win win for me. i'd prefer a Pats win though because of the Belichick/Giants connection.
It's the rules and it's right that the NFC West send a team to the playoffs.
The Chargers went to the playoffs with an 8-8 record and beat the much fancied Colts. They went into the playoffs with a 13-3 record last year and lost to the Jets.
This thing about a team with a losing record making the playoffs wouldn't be an issue if it was one of the media darlings who was involved. If it was the NFC East, for example, nobody would even bother bringing it up.
It's a one-off - next year the Rams should be even better, San Francisco might finally get their act together and maybe if Arizona gets a decent QB they might actually be able to compete again. Teams don't stay weak forever - we just happen to have most in the division in that 'transition' period.
